Agios Nikolaos (Selinitsa) is a picturesque fishing village of Messiniaki Mani and a known destination for vacations. It is located on the Messinian Gulf shore. The village was firstly inhabited during the period of 1830-1840 and the inhabitants were occupied exclusively to fishing and they exchanged the fish to other products at the neighbouring villages. During the last decades Agios Nikolaos managed to develop the tourism of the area by creating facilities for hosting of tourists and offer them lovely and comfortable vacations. Agios Nikolaos (Selinitsa) offers lovely beaches with picturesque rocks and a beach which attracts a great number of swimmers.
